I have a very "strong" cowlick right down the middle of the back of my hair. Have had to have a length to help cover it. Do you know anyway to have my hair styled short and eliminate that so definite "break"

Well, I would suggest getting some short layers to cover it up. If you want to go the chemical route, you could get a relaxer done, and have them focus on the cowlick. Also, depending on the cut and placement of the cowlick, you could try backcombing it. I’ll post a picture right after this posting, and you could try that haircut out. It’d look good with backcombing, and also has short layers.
