You could ask him to do a trim on the length, and then just add a LOT of layers- that will keep the length, but still look different. That’s probably your best bet to be honest. It will be more bouncy and not so dull.
Let me know if you want other suggestions!
Good luck!

You could take Biotin pills, and that would help with hair growth. To stop hair from thinning I would try Nioxin Shampoo and Conditioner. It seems to help a lot of people and it is specifically designed to help people with thinning hair.
Hope this helps!

There isn’t much to do for that unfortunately….the best thing you could do for it would be to use a clarifying shampoo every few days. That will strip out anything bad from your hair- don’t do it every day though. That will dry your hair out TOO much. Just limit it to a few times a week. Good luck!
I DO get your messages, and if I don’t answer right away it’s not because I don’t care. I am very busy with my salon, family, etc. And also sometimes certain questions need a little research so I can make sure to answer your question to the best of my ability. Just hang in there and I promise I’ll get to your questions! Thanks beauties!
I LOVE getting questions, comments, etc by the way!!

I don’t know if this is the question that never got answered (in reference to the message sent to me) but I do get a lot of spam, and only check my inbox every few days because of it. So I’m sorry to anyone who doesn’t get an answer from me! I do try my best!
Anyways, for redheads, you want to stick to neutral tones for the most part. Green and purple are good colors if you want to add a pop of color in. Bright pink is good for lips if you want a bright lip stick.
Hope this helps!

Dark brown spots are due to not exfoliating enough before hand. And also if you get it done in a booth, and someone doesn’t actually spray it on to give you a custom tan, sometimes the booth can mess up and spray too much in one area.
Your best bet would be to go back to the tanning salon where you got the tan, and see if theres anything they can do. I know when my dog licked off a strip of my spray tan right after I got it, I was able to put some tanning lotion on lightly and cover it. So maybe they’ll have something to spread out the color- such as regular lotion? It sounds stupid, but that’s what my tanning lady told me last time. Lotion is a cure all for spray tans- IF DONE RIGHT. Which is why I would encourage you to go back to the tanning salon and ask what they can do. Hope this helps!
If any stylists need to rant about clients, etc or anything, and if anyone else feels like ranting about hair and beauty or anything else unrelated- feel free! I need to rant today so I thought you might need to too!
First rant- Why can’t men wash their hair every day?? I had a client today who seemed like he hadn’t washed his hair in WEEKS. Had grease build up on my fingers and comb! YUCK. Granted he left me a $10 tip, but still.
Who else??
Please don’t leave me hanging! Fill up the ask box! Anon is on!
Example I did to show how colors pull on dark hair (see previous text post)
Hey beauties!
I just saw a post someone posted about trying to put several colors in their hair. (Purple, blue, and pink). She said that she had her hair bleached so that she could put those colors on. The purple didn’t take. Anyone know why?
Why don’t I tell you!
The girl had naturally dark hair. She bleached her hair- which DOES lighten it, but it also still leaves dark pigment behind. For some reason, when you try to put purple in hair that isn’t NATURALLY light, it either A) doesn’t take. Or B) pulls the dark pigment and takes a muddy brown color.
The other colors did work, but just not as well. Because she went for cool colors- and she had dark hair, it didn’t work as well.
I did a mannequin head once (in fact I’ll post the picture of it next) and she had VERY dark hair. I lightened the sections and applied the colors I wanted- all of which were warmer colors. I did use a magenta that had a cool base, but although it pulled a little dark, it still turned out well. It just really depends on the colors. I WANTED to use a purple, but knew that it wouldn’t take the color. So I chose a yellow and orange (warm colors) and magenta and green (cool colors, but I wanted them to pull darker).
So moral of the story, unfortunately us darker haired girls can only use certain colors. Now you all know why!! :)
